Phil Adams is a pastor at Park Community Church in Chicago, where he serves in the Rogers Park neighborhood. Originally from Belfast, Northern Ireland, he earned an undergraduate degree in interactive multimedia design before spending several years working in East Asia. In 2015, he moved to Chicago and completed a Master of Divinity in intercultural studies. Following his graduate work, he helped plant a multiethnic church in Chicago’s Little India neighborhood. For the past three years, he has served in his current pastoral role, working in one of the city’s most religiously and culturally diverse communities. Adams and his wife, Ruth, are raising their four children in this environment, an experience that continues to shape both his ministry and perspective on faith across cultures.
