Mobarakeh Nouri

Mobarakeh Nouri was born in Iran but is originally from Afghanistan. At the age of 10, her family sought refuge in Turkey, where she completed her middle school education. In 2016, she began high school at Gaziantep Güzel Sanatlar, earning a first-place academic achievement award during her freshman year. In late 2016, Mobarakeh resettled in Colorado with her mother and two younger sisters. She graduated from Denver South High School in 2020 and obtained her Associate of Science degree at the Community College of Denver in 2023, receiving the prestigious Presidential Award. Currently, Mobarakeh has finished her Bachelor’s degree in mining engineering at the Colorado School of Mines. Throughout her life in the United States, Mobarakeh actively engaged with various non-profit organizations and community initiatives, including Building Bridges, Kramerica Gives, Outdoor G.I.R.LS., and the Village Institute. She has obtained certifications in mental health first aid, CNA, and medical interpreting.
