Jeremiah John is a professor at Southern Virginia University where he is the Social Science Division Chair and the Political Science Program Coordinator. Of his vocation, John says, “I study politics in order to understand human beings and how they try to solve difficult problems like conflict, injustice, and insecurity. I love Southern Virginia University students because they see education as something that can change their lives.” John earned a BA summa cum laude in Political Science form Hampden-Sydney College, an MA in Political Science from the University of Notre Dame, and a PhD in Political Theory and Comparative Politics from the University of Notre Dame.
